What time can I arrive?

You can check in to the campsite at the visitors centre from 1pm. Don’t worry if you arrive early – You can still enjoy the park, beach and activities.

What is the latest I can check in?

Please make sure you’re here by 8pm at the latest – the camp wardens work long days and deserve time to relax before their evening patrols.

What time do I have to leave?

You need to be off the campsite by 12pm to make sure everything’s ready for the next lot of campers to enjoy!

What if I’m not ready to leave by 12pm?

Don’t worry. You only need to leave the campsite. You can still enjoy the rest of the park and its facilities.

How many dogs can I bring?

You can bring up to 3 dogs per pitch

Can I bring any other pets?

Animals usually kept in cages – guinea pigs, hamsters etc are ok but you can’t bring cats.

How many toilets are there?

There are a total of 15 toilets on site including 3 disabled toilets

How many showers are there?

There are 10 showers on site

I have a tent-Can I have electric hook up?

Great news- Yes you can!! We are trialling electric hook-ups for tents for the 2018 season.

How big is my pitch?

Your pitch will be a minimum of 10m by 10.8m

Can we book a specific pitch?

Not usually. Campsite wardens allocate pitches when you arrive; and it’s their responsibility to fit in all their bookings without anyone having to move pitch during their stay.

Can we recycle?                                                                  

Yes. We insist that you do! This is extremely important to us. We recycle everything we can at the campsite, doing our bit for the environment. Separate bags will be given to you in order to separate all the different waste such as plastic, cans, paper, etc
