Fishing Permits & Rules

πŸ“Œ All visitors must purchase an annual permit or day ticket from the MiPermit link before fishing.

πŸ“Œ Night fishing is exclusively for annual permit holders.

πŸ“Œ Day tickets are valid from dawn till dusk.

πŸ“Œ Rangers and volunteer bailiffs will be on-site to check permits and inspect rigs for safety.

General Rules for All Lakes

βœ” Maximum of two rods per angler – rods must NOT be left unattended.
βœ” Litter must be taken away and disposed of properly.
βœ” Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
βœ” Carp care essentials required, including an unhooking mat, landing net (minimum 42”), and carp-friendly antiseptic.
βœ” Catch and release only – no fish to be taken away.
βœ” Valid rod licence required.
βœ” No bait boats, fixed rigs, lead core leaders, fires, barbecues, or loud music.
βœ” Fishing must be from designated swims only.

Fishing Costs

🎟 Annual Pass – Β£60 per year

Our Lakes

🌊 Morolwg Pond – The Specimen Fishing Lake (approx. 3 acres) with 20 pegs and an island, stocked with Carp up to 25lb, ideal for specimen anglers.

🌊 Dyfatty Pond – A general coarse fishery (less than an acre), home to roach, tench, and Carp up to double figures.
