February half term adventurers26 Feb, 2018
During February half term we invited some junior adventurers to come and spend a few hours doing bushcraft activites with our rangers. In this time they built dens, campfires and learnt how to survive in the woods. We plan to run more of these activities to find out more keep an eye on our events pages or join our newsletter by emailing camppembrey@Carmarthenshire.gov.uk.

Season Tickets 2018/1917 Mar, 2018
Pembrey Country Park annual season tickets are going on Sale on 26th March 2018 (renewals 19th March). If you wish to purchase a ticket you will need to fill in an application form which is available from either the Visitor Centre or our website. A couple of things are changing in 2018 with regards to how you enter the park, this change will be in the Summer months but we need to take the information from you now for us to be able to update our system ready. The main change is that the barrier will be Number plate recognition and for us to ensure this transition is smooth we will ask for the relevant number plates (up to 2 per household). Attached to the application form is the terms and conditions please make sure that you read these before signing which will give you more information on the changes.
Terms and Conditions
Statement from Pembrey Country Park regarding the Annual Season Ticket at Pembrey Country Park.
The new barrier system will be coming into effect later in the year. We will communicate with all season ticket holders updating you with how the new system will work before this is installed.
In readiness for this, we now have written Terms and Conditions that you agree to when you purchase or renew your Annual Season Ticket.
The terms and conditions have not changed significantly. The main change is that you now have a copy to refer to when signing your application form for a season ticket. We have asked for car registration details on previous application forms, but have not previously enforced the rules.
If you have renewed your season ticket this year, you may remember being asked for your car registration number plates on the application last year. We have asked for this information to avoid the abuse of season tickets, which include sharing passes with friends, family, guests, visitors. Although only a minority, unfortunately we encountered many instances last year where this happened.
The charge is a parking fee for a car not the person or persons, and cars can take anything from 2-7 people at a time depending on the vehicle size so it’s outstanding value from only 12p per day.
I hope that the information below will answer your queries.
- 2 vehicles for each pass purchased but only one car can have entry at any one time, the other car will need to pay a charge at the day rate. Any additional cars needing entry to the park would need to pay for their parking on the day, or will need to be included on an additional ticket.
- If you are visiting the park in a different car to your own, you will need to pay for parking on the day, as the season ticket is for parking fees for the vehicles registered only.
- A car registration can be changed during the year by contacting the park e.g. when purchasing a new car, however, only two registrations will be held live at any time and therefore the old car registration will be taken off the system and will not be able to be re-instated again via that season ticket.
- Annual season tickets are non-transferable. They are for your vehicles only, and not for the use of family members, friends, visitors or guests.
Please note that these are existing rules from previous years, and have not been changed, only confirmed in writing.
All season tickets are now valid for 12 months from the date of purchase whereas previously they were until March 31st regardless of the month they were bought.
